About
Hi, I am Stacy
I’m the founder of Yoga With Salad, but more than anything, I’m someone who has spent much of her life exploring consciousness, presence, and what it means to simply be. I love yoga, animals, plant-based living, nature, and the quiet moments that bring us back to ourselves. My spiritual awakening began when I was 28, and it continues to unfold.

My spiritual awakening began when I was 28. I had come across the teachings of Eckhart Tolle and, while reading A New Earth, something opened almost immediately. One morning, I woke up conscious, with no thoughts running through my mind. Intuitively, I knew to go inward.
As I went deeply inside myself, a flash of an image I didn't understand appeared. It sparked a deep fear of death in the body, and my entire body began to shake. But I was so conscious that I was able to simply observe it. I didn't resist. Eventually, the shaking released completely.
What followed was a profound opening into presence. There was no sense of separation. I was one with everything, and I knew I was not the body. As I rested in that state, one sentence arose within me: “Death is not real.”
But the awakening wasn't the end of the journey. I stayed in the world. Looking back, I can see there was still a momentum of pain that needed to play itself out.
Years later, during another spontaneous experience, my own face flashed before my eyes. With it came one word:
“Nobody.”
Something began to fall away. The self-images I had accumulated throughout my life—the doer, the worker, the one who mad, the one who was sad the person I thought I was—began to be seen for what they were.
Then came what I call Moksha Summer, a period of deep presence when thought became remarkably quiet and life seemed to move without the constant interference of the mind. After a quiet spiritual event I woke up with what I felt like the remaining hypnosis of the world was lifted and I was completly present. One thoguh came through it floated across my the screen of my mind once "Moksha"... I had to later inquire into the word although on a deep level I knew what it meant. Since then, the deepening has continued and is speeding up.
Presence is with me daily now, gently wrapping itself around any remnants of pain and healing without effort. More and more, the time-bound sense of self—the person held together by the past or continually imagining herself in the future—is becoming visible and dissolving.
There is less becoming and more simply being here.
My service is to bring this presence and compassion into the world—for humans and for animals. I experience animals as conscious beings capable of their own deepening and awakening, and I believe they belong within our understanding of consciousness, not outside of it. Yoga With Salad is one way I offer what I am living in service to all beings.
This offering was born from Moksha Summer.
